He sees her and feels little surprise. He hadn't seen her in the crowd, but now that he thinks back to what it had been to stand there in the ring, he thinks he might have felt her there, a set of eyes resting on him with so much more familiarity than the others.
Though now he sees more than familiarity there.
He meets her gaze in the mirror and then, without turning, begins to remove the wrappings from his hands. "Did you take pleasure in victory?"
